Suitcase Review – Revelation weightless four wheeled Orange

We purchased a set of 3  Revelation weightless four wheeled suitcases from TK Maxx, in November 2014.
They were super lightweight and we travelled with them to Spain, Singapore, Australia,  New Zealand, Barbados and all around the UK with them.
The orange colour was a real great choice as they were easy to see when coming out at baggage claim.

However after Christmas 2015 we had to say goodbye to one of the cases.
A hotel porter managed to bend the handle so badly that it would not retract back inside the case.
When we first purchased them I was disappointed at how flimsy the handles were.
We had a issue earlier on  where the screws came loose and the handles started to full apart.
Tom is pretty handy with a screw driver so was not too much of an issue.

After our first long haul flight the two larger cases started to show bad signs of wear.
The fabric is very lightweight which is good for saving on weight but it doesn’t seem to hold the weight of the larger bags  can hold and it started to tear away from the seams. (see image below)

Also the fabric gets very dirty and looks tatty very fast.

Although it came with a 5 year warrenty – We lost the receipt and  never registered it when we purchased. So it is our loss, however after this experince I don’t think I would buy another Revelation luggage set. I feel we would be more likely to try and find a lightweight hard case with a really strong handle for our next suitcase set.

The cases start to look very dirty after a few trips.

The fabric tearing at the seams. After packing it full it could not handle the weight.

The handle was flimsy and got bent and ruined by a hotel porter.

A google search suggests  they no longer make this model of suitcase.
